Dr. Gloria Ospina
Dr. Gloria Ospina knew she wanted to be a dentist when she was a child. After completing dental school with honors in 1986, she opened her private practice in Miami in 1994. Today, Gables Perfect Smile in Coral Gables serves patients throughout the Miami Beach area who want to maintain and perfect their smiles with general, restorative, and cosmetic care.

Dr. Rosario Ferrante
Dr. Rosario Ferrante obtained her dental degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela in 1994. She managed her own private practice for over 15 years, and altogether has over 29 years of experience in the field of general dentistry. Dr. Ferrante revalidated her dental license in the United States after completing her Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in the Florida Institute for Advanced Dental Education in 2020. Dr. Ferrante is passionate about her career, and is dedicated to continuing her education and enhancing her skills; currently holding certifications in cosmetic dentistry, and maxillofacial orthopedics, and continuing to pursue additional training and experience in the implantology field.
Dr. Ferrante speaks English, Spanish, and Italian. She is a dedicated mother and wife, and she enjoys cooking in her free time.

If you're unhappy with the amount of gum showing when you smile, Dr. Ospina can perform her patented high lip line corrective surgical method. This surgical technique limits high movement of the upper lip by using BOTOX and attachments that tighten the lip down. If you've undergone a crown lengthening procedure to address your gummy smile, but are not happy with the results, you could be a candidate for this corrective technique. The procedure is customized to the patient and gives immediate results so that you can leave our office with a confident smile.
Special Considerations
The result of this corrective procedure depends on the severity of your case, but we can assure you that our care is thorough. If we discover additional concerns during the evaluation of the patient that require our attention, we can address them during the corrective procedure. For example, if you have bruxism or clenching that has resulted in bone bombs under the lips, we can remove them during your procedure. We then go a step further by treating the underlying TMJ disorder.

This treatment uses a unique process that is virtually painless and accelerates healing. It also provides less chance of relapse and secures lip position more effectively than other methods.
